Knowledge transfer from practice to theory.

For 25 years, we have been introducing all students to the teachings of Ayurvedic knowledge at the beginning of our Ayurveda training programme: How do we arrive at valid knowledge of the natural laws of health and disease? Through a) transmission of specialised knowledge via source texts and their interpretation, b) direct sensory perception, c) logical deduction and d) application.

You will acquire the theoretical knowledge in the 10 modules of your Ayurveda training. In this initial practical training you will now receive the direct key through sensory experience and confirmation through application to your own body and mind.

Once upon a time...

Around 2,500 years ago, wise and mindful people, the so-called Rishi, In the mountains of the Himalayas in the north of India, they recognised the changes in nature through the six seasons. They recognised that the macrocosm of nature and the microcosm of man are inextricably linked.

The Ayurvedic Samhita emerged from this sensory experience and deep realisation, in which the laws of nature were written down and thus made available to subsequent generations with less insight.
Become your own Rishi and experience Ayurveda at first hand.

Understanding basic concepts with all senses.

After your basic training, do you think you really understand Ayurvedic concepts such as the five elements and their properties, Vata-Pitta-Kapha, Agni and Ama, Raktadushti, Dhatu and Upadhatu, Mala, Srotas, Prakriti-Vikriti-Vyadhi, Dosha and Dushya, Roga and Svastha? If so, we are sorry to disappoint you.

We do not learn the true depth of Ayurveda in theory, but only through direct experience with our own bodies, in nature, with other people and in everyday life. In this first module and practical training, you will experience the essence of Ayurvedic thinking in direct transmission from teacher to student. And experience nature in a new way.
